1. When should I start preparing for these Examinations?
Ans. Normally for any sincere student who is willing to put in 3 to 4 hours a day, a three-month period is ideal for preparing and reaching one's peak performance. Our training package is designed for 3 months. But you are most welcome to continue with us as long as you desire you are our student till you take the test.......

2. You mean to say exactly for 3 months ? What if I want to set my own pace ?
Ans. Well, complete flexibility marks our training schedule. The following case studies illustrate this.

Case I : Mr. A is a commerce graduate doing his M. Com., part I to ensure completion of 16 years of education. He had opted for secretarial practice instead of Maths and he enjoyed himself in college for five years. Now he has suddenly realized that if he gets 650 + in GMAT he can perhaps enter a reputed US university. Our package for such a student would run like this.

Basic Maths
60 hrs.
Reading Comprehension
22 hrs.
Advanced Math
20 hrs.
Sentence Correction
30 hrs.
Critical Reasoning
12 hrs.
Data Sufficiency
16 hrs.
Permutation Combination, Probability, Statistics
10 hrs.
Total
170 hrs.

All this can be finished in 7 weeks and then Mr. A is ready to take his first paper test ! Yes, I insist that every student must take at least 12 paper tests to counter the fatigue factor which invariably undermines the student's scoring capacity. Once Mr. A finishes the paper tests he will shift to the computer lab and spend anywhere between 40 to 60 hours on all the software. Our study package for Mr. A will last for 210 hours !!!

Case II : Mr. B is an engineer working in a multinational and can hardly make it even to the last batch between 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. I ask him to take 3 weeks off and he is with us from 8 : 30 in the morning to 8 : 00 in the evening everyday. Subject to his time constraints, we still manage to finish most of the portion and for the following 3 to 5 weeks he works on our material. He is in touch with us on Saturdays and finally takes his GMAT.

Case III : Mr. C is a 6th semester engineering student and wants to take the GRE sometime next year. Well. Mr. C joins, comes to us every day for 2 hours and this continues for the next 60 days. Then Mr. C takes a complete break but continues working on the study material given by us. He then rejoins us just 40 days prior to his test date, puts in best efforts and takes the test !!

As I said, we are very flexible and these case studies are not hypothetical. You can actually meet Mr. A, B or C if you care to drop in. Are you Mr. D with yet another time schedule? You are welcome and we will accommodate you.

3. I have Barrons and Kaplans. Can I manage on my own?
Ans. Well, these books are generally written by American authors with American students as their main users. As a result, most of the explanations are long-winded and learning from these books will be a time consuming process. Besides, GMAT and GRE have become interactive and we change our study material in a very dynamic way. Every student of ours is contacted after he/she takes the test to find out whether he/she encountered a problem not covered in our study material. For example, one of our GMAT students reported a question based on normal distribution in statistics and within the next 72 hours all our GMAT students were briefed extensively on that topic !

So books or study material by correspondence course will be a poor substitute for joining our classes.

4. When do your batches start?
Ans. We don't have a batch system. The day you join, your training starts. We offer a series of lectures which covers all the aspects of the examination that you will appear for. These lectures are 6 days a week and last for 2 hours or more. This is an ongoing process, although after about 6 to 7 weeks you go into the test mode and start taking the paper tests. The last 3 weeks of the training schedule are reserved for computer practice sessions.

Ans. We operate from our own premises consisting of 3 lecture rooms and a computer lab with 10 computers. As I had explained earlier, depending upon the need, I make you attend many lectures from a minimum of 6 hours to a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Ans. No problem at all. Since we don't a have batch system and since every thing is cyclical, you can switch the time slots as many times as you want. But let me warn you, it is in your interest that you stick to a certain time schedule as it would ensure that you cover the entire study material a proper manner.

Ans. We have 10 computers with software loaded and I advise you to start practising on the computer in the last 3 weeks of your training schedule.
